The ThunderCat tire is a perfect mix of the Pioneer and the Enduro. With a 6.75 width, it has a bit more carve than the Pioneer and superior traction to the Enduro. The tread depth is deeper than the Enduro, but shallower than the Pioneer - but don't worry, we spaced the treads extra wide at the shoulder for maximum grip in heavy turns. And let's talk about the tread design - it's ridiculously cool! We combined cat claws and lightning bolts to create the base tread and added siping and stippling patterns on top for extra grip. Say goodbye to "wheel slip notifications" with this tire. Oh, and take a look at that sidewall design - 80's nostalgia anyone? Let it flow through your soul.

Compound Choice:
Soft compound: for a smoother, buttery ride underfoot, but don't expect a long-lasting tread - it's a soft compound, after all!
Mid compound: will enhance the durability of the tire, prolonging the time between changes. However, it won't be as foot-friendly and will have a distinct "bite" when carving.

Loving this tyre! I tried quite a few tyres, the enduro, hoosier, vega treaded, as I ride quite a lot in the sandhills or on the beach, as well as forest trails.
This thundercat tyre is the grippiest of all, and I went for the Mid as I read it was already quite a soft compound, and running this at <10PSI, it is super soft and grippy.
I dont like a very rounded profile, it feels like this tyre is a good compromise between stability and carvability
